Choice Designs is the product of over three generations of strong female entrepreneurship and creativity. Carma Reincke’s passion for interior design began with a project she completed with her father, a residential home builder known as the Fort Wayne Parade of Homes. Her mother ran a successful real estate firm and was her first example of independence for women in the marketplace. In 1979, Reincke incorporated Choice Designs as an interior design consulting business while her family was living in Texas. The family returned to Northeast Indiana in 1984 where she worked with her mother-in-law in her already reputable and established interior design firm. Her daughter, Jennifer Ford, took the circuitous route to interior design by concentrating on a career in art. Eventually, the two fields influenced each other and merged beautifully into a studio and design practice focusing on originality, craftsmanship, and a finely tuned aesthetic sensibility.
